Out of Time games are a line of strategy adventure games set in historical time periods for boys ages 7 to 12. Pirate Revenge puts players in the age of the pirates as they race across the Caribbean as merchant ships trying to collect treasure while also trying to avoid being taken by the nemesis on the board -- the Pirate Ship -- before time runs out. Players collect strategy cards as the game unfolds and use them strategically to outwit and overthrow their opponents given where they are on the board and how much time is left to play. The player to capture the most treasure before they are "out of time" wins the game. Game includes beautifully illustrated pirate and merchant ship strategy cards that provide historical information about each pirate and ship, board, dice, timing device, and lots of information about the historical time period.
