He is the illustrator of the acclaimed New York Times bestselling picture book Polar Bear Night, which was named a New York Times Best Illustrated children?s book and an American Library Association notable book, as well as the lost Margaret Wise Brown manuscript, The Fathers Are Coming Home. He is the creator of Where?s Walrus?, a new wordless picture book from Scholastic Press due out in February. His editorial illustration has appeared in dozens of major newspapers and magazines including the New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, The Atlantic Monthly, The New Republic and The Wall Street Journal.
